Strummers and flat-pickers will love the clear projection and top-end brightness of the solid sapele/Sitka spruce tonewood pairing, while the dreadnought body’s wide waist produces a strong low end and focused midrange. The body is supported by performance bracing with relief rout and the tropical mahogany neck is connected to the body via scarf joint. Aesthetic details include black binding, a black pickguard, Italian acrylic small diamond fingerboard inlays, and satin-finish back and sides with a gloss top. Other features include an ebony fingerboard with 20 frets, Tusq nut fret and Micarta saddle, and Taylor nickel tuners. The guitar comes performance-ready with Taylor’s Expression System 2 pickup and Elixir Phosphor Bronze Medium strings, and ships in a Taylor deluxe hard-shell case in brown colour.
