Sapele back and sides share mahogany’s strong and focused midrange response and, together with a Sitka spruce top, rings out with brightness and clarity. The soundboard choice for most guitars, Sitka spruce produces a broad dynamic range and accommodates a versatile range of playing styles. Black binding flanks sapele’s ribbon-like grain, with small diamond fingerboard inlays in Italian acrylic adding a traditional touch.The Elixir HD Light strings are custom calibrated to optimize the tone with bolder highs, fuller lows, and more overall warmth, giving players an expressive tonal palette. Onboard Expression System 2 pickup captures more of a guitar’s dynamic properties using a breakthrough behind-the-saddle design. The guitar further features a tropical mahogany neck with scarf joint and ebony fingerboard with 20 frets, Performance bracing with relief rout, Tusq nut and Micarta saddle, black pickguard, plastic three-ring rosette and Taylor nickel tuners.
