Electro-acoustic guitar with medium-size Grand Auditorium body that features a rich-grained mahogany top paired with African sapele back and sides which provide plenty of tonal and visual character. The clear, punchy midrange behaves well in a mix with other instruments, and delivers the kind of musical versatility that make this a reliable guitar in a variety of playing scenarios. Traditional appointments, such as black binding, a three-ring rosette and satin finish, complement mahogany’s dark, vintage looks. The tropical mahogany neck is connected to the body via scarf joint and features black fingerboard and heel cap binding. It is fitted with an ebony fingerboard with 20 frets and 4mm dot inlays. Scale length is 647.7 mm, neck width is 44.45 mm. The guitar comes equipped with Taylor’s Expression System 2 pickup, Tusq nut fret and Micarta saddle, an Indian rosewood truss rod cover and Taylor nickel tuners with satin pegheads. It also features forward shifted pattern bracing with relief rout, black pickguard and comes strung with the Elixir Phosphor Bronze HD Light strings. The Taylor Deluxe hard-shell brown case is included.
