Electro-acoustic guitar with Grand Auditorium body shape with Venetian cutaway from 400 series that responds well to an array of playing styles thanks to Taylor’s proprietary body shape and the expansive tonal palette of spruce top and ovangkol back and sides. Expect a blend of power and tonal definition, especially in the midrange, so whether you like to strum, flat-pick or play finger-style, it makes a great playing partner. Contemporary aesthetic strokes include white binding, Italian acrylic dot fingerboard inlays, a three-ring rosette, and a full-gloss body. The tropical mahogany neck is connected to the body via scarf joint and is fitted with ebony fingerboard with 20 frets. Scale length is 647.7 mm, neck width is 44.45 mm. The guitar is equipped with the Expression System 2 that captures more of a guitar’s dynamic properties using a breakthrough behind-the-saddle design. Other features include the Tusq nut and Micarta saddle, black plastic truss rod cover, tortoise pickguard, Taylor nickel tuners, and Elixir Phosphor Bronze Light strings.
