Alesis Vortex Wireless

USB/MIDI wireless keytar controller with accelerometer that features 37 velocity-sensitive keys with aftertouch for compact, yet melodic range. USB dongle creates a wireless connection to any Mac or PC, and with combination with traditional MIDI jacks allows connection with virtually any synth, sound module or other MIDI hardware or software. Controller is equipped with an embedded, programmable, MIDI-assignable accelerometer for performance parameter control by tilting the neck, thumb-controlled volume slider, pitch-bend wheel and finger-controlled MIDI-assignable touchstrip, sustain, and octave-control buttons on the neck. Eight velocity-sensitive drum pads/sample triggers enable creating beats or trigger clips, while large transport (Start/Stop) and patch-select controls allow an instant access. Controller also provides standard guitar strap pegs on neck and body (strap is included) and battery-powering for use with MIDI modules and hardware synths (batteries are included). Device can be also bus-powered when connected to Mac or PC via USB (cable is included), and is class compliant – it does not require drivers. Controller comes with production package that includes Xpand!2 by AIR Music Tech and Ableton Live Lite Software. USB wireless receiver, USB extension cable and cable harness are also included.
