The small floorstanding speaker with the strong price-performance ratio is called the GLE 70. Although the speaker with its moderate cabinet dimensions is visually restrained, it convinces with a dynamic and mature sound image. Two 174 mm titanium drivers in an optimally dimensioned bass reflex cabinet reproduce deep tones cleanly and powerfully. They are equipped with sturdy polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnet drives and the latest generation of triple-folded wave surrounds, which allow the speakers to perform very dynamically with minimal distortion: this is almost unique in this size and price class. The perfect complement comes in the form of sophisticated and well-proven aluminium-manganese tweeter system with 25 mm dome: elaborate wave guides for ideal sound radiation and coupling and optimised crossovers enable reproduction up to 40,000 hertz.
The GLE 70 is 19 centimetres slim, 95 centimetres high and 28 centimetres deep. Four feet integrated into the bottom of the cabinet ensure a firm footing on the floor.
