Vertigo F.L. it is the ideal model for those who practice trekking and requires a reliable stick, durable and with an exceptional comfort.

• This stick is composed of three tubes of 18 / 16 / 14 mm diameter in 6061 Aluminum with a total weight of 254 g and then allowing this to stick to vary in length from 64 to 142 cm, thus adapting perfectly to all your statures. Thanks to the Fast Lock (F.L.) system you will be able to adjust the stick simply following these three steps: open the clamp, adjust the handle and close the clamp.

The LM36 grip, ergonomic and comfortable is essential for the success of your excursion. This model offers a second grip, Touring, located under the LM36 is very useful for climbing performance. The strap supplied is the Adjustable buckle model, simple to set up and use, but to ensure a firm grip well.

• Essential when walking on soft ground, the baskets are easy to assemble and replace, interchangeable and available in different forms suitable for summer or winter use. The Vertigo F.L. stick will be provided with two pairs of baskets of different sizes (54 mm and 87 mm), which according to the situation where you are and depending on the surface condition can change them, without risking to sink your stick in the soft ground.

The Carbide tip can be used on any type of terrain and in all conditions without risking the loss of traction.

Fast lock

• The innovative system FAST LOCK the external locking technology based on the eccentric mechanism, offering an alternative to the standard locking systems that need a rotation of the tubes. This system locks the tubes through an external lever and it is really fast and reliable, even in extreme conditions of low temperature or when wearing gloves.
• In the new Fast Lock 2012 also the micrometric adjustment system has been improved. The adjustment can be done manually, without any additional tools.

Carbide - Tip Sharp and Durable

• The tips of poles play an all-important role: sharp and durable, Gabel tips guarantee a sure grip on any type of terrain. Trekking poles have Widia tips. Rubber caps are also available for absorbing the impact on hard terrain.

• Anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts.

Multi - locking system

• In order to maximize the locking power of the models featuring the FAST LOCK, Gabel introduces the MULTI LOCKING concept that couples the locking force of the lever with the reliability of the traditional locking system with expander. The addition of an extra locking mechanism, the LITE LOCKING SYSTEM, guarantees total hold of the pole in every temperature and terrain condition.
