Professional cajon that features an extra-strong matt-black body made of 15-mm thick, 11-layer birch wood which guarantees an optimal sound production and sets the design veneer consistently into scene. The high-quality screws create brilliant contrasts to the sensational wood grain front and the black backside. The bright outline around the playing surface completes the strong brown tastefully. Solid, rounded corners of finest maple wood and the Sela Hard Splash playing surface provide a relaxed and enjoyable playing feeling. Due to the construction, subsequent replacement of the playing surface is possible. The Sela Pro Snare On/Off-Mechanism is very simple to use - simply press the snare lever back for turning the snare sound on or off. The ergonomically optimal position of the lever enables a lightning-fast switching while playing. When the snare is deactivated user gets a traditional Peruvian Cajon, with a fine response and conga-like sound. If he switches the snare on again, he gets the typical Sela sound with a differentiated bass and snare sound. The sound of the snare can be attenuated or amplified according to the taste. Thanks to this snare mechanism, it is also possible to use a second snare. The instrument also has individually adjustable clap corners, in addition to the crisp snare sound and the differentiated bass, and non-slip rubber feet. Dimensions: approx. 470 x 300 x 300 mm.
