VEQ-4K BLACK by Antelope Audio is a four-band equaliser plugin modelled after the most popular revision of an iconic British console EQ module. Designed following the recommendations of leading recording engineers, this version features louder EQ gain of up to ±18 dB and a steeper 18 dB/octave high-pass filter slope for more assertive frequency shaping.

Enhanced EQ Power

VEQ-4K BLACK provides four bands with sweepable mid Q plus switchable Bell and Shelf modes on the high and low frequency bands. With its extended ±18 dB boost and cut range, it delivers bolder tonal adjustments than earlier variants, making it suitable for both corrective and creative equalisation tasks.

Steeper High-Pass Filter

The 18 dB per octave high-pass filter slope provides more precise and effective low-frequency management compared to gentler filter designs. This allows engineers to clean up rumble, proximity effect, and low-end build-up with greater control and minimal impact on the desired content above.

Classic Analogue Sound

VEQ-4K BLACK faithfully emulates the sonic character of the original hardware, including its signature combination of dip and bump before the shelf boost. Available in AAX, VST3, and AU formats for macOS and Windows.
