The Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus pedal is a stompbox built specifically for electric bass, using a built-in crossover to apply chorusing only where it belongs — the upper frequencies. The fundamental bass tone passes through untouched, so the low end stays tight and punchy while the modulation adds movement above.

What Makes the CEB-3 Different From a Guitar Chorus

The defining feature is the Low Filter knob, which controls how far down into the bass register the modulation reaches. Guitar-oriented chorus pedals tend to swallow low-end content; the split-frequency circuit of this model solves that at the design level. Stereo Output A and B jacks also let bassists run a wide field into dual amps.
