Electro Harmonix Mod 11 Modulator
The Electro-Harmonix Mod 11 Modulator puts eleven fully fledged modulation algorithms — Tremolo, Harmonic Tremolo, Vibrato, Univibe, Chorus, Rotary cabinet simulation, Flanger, Through-Zero Flanger, 4/6/8-stage Phaser, modulated Pitch, and synth-style Filter — inside a 70 × 114 × 53 mm enclosure. Each engine runs on a digital circuit feeding mono 6.3 mm input and output jacks, with Buffered Bypass that keeps the dry signal consistent over long cable runs and large pedalboard chains. Built-in Tap Tempo on the footswitch plus an external 6.3 mm Tap In jack gives reliable LFO-rate sync for live use.

A digital algorithm engine delivers eleven full modulation types from one compact stompbox. Inside the pedal, the engine covers Tremolo, Harmonic Tremolo, Vibrato, Univibe, Chorus, Rotary cabinet simulation, Flanger, Through-Zero Flanger, 4/6/8-stage Phaser, modulated Pitch shifter, and synth-style Filter, running on mono 6.3 mm I/O with Buffered Bypass. Hidden Parameters and Envelope Control
Holding the Mode button enters Secondary Knob Mode, reassigning Depth, Rate, and Volume/Colour to alternate parameters — LFO shape, dry/wet blend, and envelope sensitivity — on most engines. Seven algorithms (TREM, VIBR, ROTARY, FLANGE, TZF, PHASE, FILT) include an envelope follower so playing dynamics drive modulation speed or depth in real time. Momentary Mode turns the footswitch into a hold-to-engage trigger for brief rotary whoosh accents.
Connectivity and Power
Standard 6.3 mm jacks handle the audio path, and mains-only supply keeps the chassis sealed.

Tempo and Switching
Tap Tempo runs from the on-board footswitch or from any external momentary footswitch patched into the Ext Tap In jack.
- Synchronise LFO rate to song tempo via Tap Tempo, using either the built-in footswitch or an external momentary switch plugged into the Tap In jack.
- Momentary Mode: Hold-to-engage footswitch setting — Leslie-style blasts and pitch throws
- Buffered Bypass preserves the dry signal across long cable runs and big pedalboard chains, so the unaffected tone stays consistent at the end of the chain.
