The Electro-Harmonix Nano Q-Tron Envelope Filter packs the classic Micro Q-Tron sound into a compact, true-bypass pedal. The unit reads your playing dynamics and sweeps an analog filter, producing auto-wah and funky quack that react to pick attack. EHX has been making envelope-controlled filter pedals since the 1970s. The Nano Q-Tron suits guitarists and bassists who want a dynamic, hands-free wah.

What Sets This Pedal Apart

Unlike a standard wah, the filter cutoff is driven entirely by your playing dynamics. A dedicated Volume knob — absent on the original Micro Q-Tron — lets you match bypass level or boost the effect.

Three Filter Modes and Four Knobs

The Mode rotary switch selects between Low-Pass, Band-Pass and High-Pass responses. Drive sets envelope sensitivity gain, while Q adjusts peak bandwidth.
