Auto Gain, Clip Safe, and Air Mode
Fourth-generation enhancements include a session-protection suite. By pressing a single button, Auto Gain determines the optimal level, while Clip Safe scans the input up to 96,000 times per second, automatically reducing gain to avoid overload. With Air Mode, you can add Presence and Harmonic Drive coloration to your signal.

Delivering 69 dB of usable gain with an EIN of -127 dBu, the preamps also offer switchable 48V phantom power for condenser microphones.
