Impact Soundworks Hammer Klavier is an innovative virtual instrument that transforms the traditional piano sound by replacing felt hammers with metal-tipped hammers. This unique modification produces a vibrant, percussive tone that blends the brightness of a harpsichord with the dynamic responsiveness of a piano, offering musicians a fresh and inspiring sound palette.

Developed in collaboration with musical innovator Mattias Krantz, Hammer Klavier features six dynamic layers and individual chromatic sampling for each key, ensuring exceptional realism and expressiveness. The instrument includes 20 production-ready snapshots, making it versatile for various genres such as soundtrack, pop, rock, and ambient music.

The interface is designed for seamless sound design with controls for key and voice behavior, dynamic response, and noise shaping. Additionally, Hammer Klavier offers a fully-featured mixer and modular effects rack with multiple EQs, compressors, reverbs, distortion pedals, amps, and spatial effects, giving users extensive control over their sound.
