Key Glock, born Markeyvius LaShun Cathey on August 3, 1997, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer from Memphis. As the cousin of the late Young Dolph, he joined the Paper Route Empire label and made his breakthrough with the mixtape Glock Season in 2017. His first studio album, Yellow Tape, reached number 14 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold. Yellow Tape 2 followed in 2021, peaking at number seven and featuring the multi-platinum hit Ambition for Cash and his first Billboard Hot 100 entry, Proud. In 2023, Key Glock released Glockoma 2, which included the sleeper hit Let's Go, further cementing his status in hip hop.
