Designed for guitarists who require professional-grade effects in a minimal footprint, the Line 6 HX One brings the Helix processor ecosystem into a single-pedal format. HX Modeling captures the nuances of analog effects by analyzing their individual components, resulting in lifelike recreations of germanium fuzz, bucket-brigade delays, and other circuits resistant to standard digital modeling. You’ll see the active effect and its three main parameters on the OLED display, while the Effect knob provides fast access to a library grouped by color-coded categories: orange for drive, yellow for dynamics, green for delay, blue for modulation. Its ultra-compact enclosure ensures it fits easily on nearly any pedalboard.

Flux Controller and Adjustable Input Impedance

What sets this pedal apart is the Flux Controller—a footswitch-activated parameter automation system capable of ramping multiple effect parameters at once with user-defined curves and timing. Before a chorus, for example, a delay’s feedback and mix may swell gradually over four beats, then drop instantly on the downbeat. The adjustable input impedance lets you compensate for pickups of different strengths, directly influencing both feel and tone at the input.

Drawing from the entire Helix effects ecosystem, each preset stores a single effect with in-depth parameter control across multiple display pages.
