Lightweight portable keyboard MIDI controller from Keystation series designed for sequencing music and playing virtual instruments that features 49 velocity-sensitive synth-action keys with natural piano feel. Controller features series of controls that expand the range of playable notes: pitch bend, modulation wheels, 1/4" sustain pedal input or octave range buttons, as well as transport and directional controls to play, perform and record without using mouse or trackpad. Device is equipped with AIR Music Tech Xpand!2, a multi-timbral all-in-one workstation that offers 4 active sound slots per patch, each slot with its own MIDI channel, Note Range, Mix, Arpeggiation, Modulation and Effects setting. Controller is also equipped with Ableton Live Lite software, performance and production program that enables to spontaneously compose, record, remix, improvise and edit musical ideas in an audio/MIDI environment; and SONiVOX Eighty-Eight Ensemble, a virtual piano instrument that captures a 9-foot CS327 Steinway piano. Controller is USB-powered, class-compliant, supports USB-MIDI connectivity and plug-and-play connectivity to Mac or PC, as well as connectivity with the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit (not included).
