Each drum pad includes tension rods allowing the player to adjust head tightness to achieve a desired feel. The PUREtouch Cymbal Pads are all multi-zoned pads with a very natural cymbal feel. The technology used allows for actuate blending between the zones. When the player chokes the cymbal the sound is not only cut but a sample is activated delivering the inherent harmonics of a traditional cymbal being choked. Pearl has recorded the highest of fidelity sound samples from modern to vintage acoustic drums in a variety of sizes with very little processing.
