WaveRider is an AAX plug-in for Pro Tools that dynamically adjusts track volume in real-time, creating smooth automation data on the fly.

Unlike traditional dynamics processors, WaveRider doesn't color the sound, simply adjusting the volume to maintain a consistent output level. This makes it perfect for automating volume changes, such as ducking or leveling, without relying on external compressors. Once the automation pass is complete, WaveRider can be removed, leaving clean, editable automation data behind.
