RCF ART 910-A
The RCF ART 910-A is a professional 10-inch active loudspeaker for live sound, touring rigs, and permanent installations. This model's 2,100 W Class-D bi-amplified design drives a 10" woofer and 1.75" compression driver to deliver up to 130 dB SPL with clean, distortion-free output. FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control DSP keep the low end tight and the imaging phase-coherent across the listening area.
- 2,100 W Class-D bi-amp with up to 130 dB SPL for high-output gigs
- 10" woofer and 1.75" compression driver ensure full-range response from 50 Hz to 20 kHz
- Coverage is handled by the True Resistive Waveguide with a consistent 100° x 60° pattern
- A polypropylene composite cabinet reinforced with M-brace features a 35 mm pole mount and multiple fly points
RCF ART 910-A — Professional Active Speaker for Demanding Live Applications
The RCF ART 910-A is a 10-inch powered loudspeaker designed for high-output live sound, mobile DJs, touring bands, and installed venues. With a 10" woofer, a 1.75" compression driver, and a 2,100 W Class-D bi-amplified section, this model delivers up to 130 dB SPL while maintaining clean signal reproduction from 50 Hz to 20 kHz. Many audio professionals choose this model when they need a compact, road-ready cabinet that still offers flagship-level headroom.
What Sets the ART 910-A Apart in Its Class
Two proprietary DSP systems shape the sonic character. FiRPHASE uses zero-degree phase filters for coherent imaging across the audience, and Bass Motion Control (BMC) manages woofer excursion in real time, limiting only over-excursion and preserving low-frequency depth without introducing phase shift. The True Resistive Waveguide, refined with Finite Element Analysis and RCF anechoic measurements, acts as an ideal source with 100° x 60° constant directivity.
Amplification and Headroom — Class-D Power Built for the Road
Power is provided by a 2-channel Class-D amplifier (2,100 W peak: 1,400 W LF, 700 W HF), mounted directly to a solid aluminum heat exchanger, eliminating the need for a cooling fan. This results in silent convection cooling, fast transient response, and long-term reliability on the road.
- Total Power: 2,100 W Peak — 50% more output than the previous generation
- Enjoy headroom for medium-sized venues without the need for a subwoofer, thanks to a Max SPL @ 1m: 130 dB
- Cooling: Convection (fanless) — silent operation, fewer moving parts to fail
Transducers and Coverage — Italian-Engineered Drivers
Both drivers are engineered and manufactured by RCF. The 10" woofer features a 2.5" voice coil for thermal stability, while the 1.75" compression driver uses a Polyimide-Kapton dome rated 10× more durable than previous designs. Full-range sound from 50 Hz – 20 kHz is delivered with controlled dispersion.
- Woofer: 10" with 2.5" voice coil
- The 1.75" compression driver with Polyimide-Kapton dome stands out for its durability and clarity
- Coverage: 100° H × 60° V — even SPL across the listening area
Connectivity, Cabinet, and Rigging — Built for Real-World Use
Signal input is via a balanced XLR / 6.3 mm jack, and an XLR output can link to a second cabinet or a subwoofer. The lightweight polypropylene composite enclosure, internally reinforced with M-brace, weighs just 16.2 kg yet resists deformation under high SPL. Rigging options: 35 mm pole mount socket, M10 fly points top and bottom, and wedge angle for use as a floor monitor.
- Inputs: XLR, 6.3 mm Jack (balanced/unbalanced)
- Link out via XLR for easy system expansion
- Cabinet: PP composite with M-brace, 16.2 kg
- Pole Mount: 35 mm insert — compatible with RCF SUB 705-AS MK3, SUB 905-AS MK3, and SUB 8003-AS subwoofers
Who the ART 910-A Is Built For
Mobile DJs, solo musicians, duos, bands in small-to-mid venues, and houses of worship often rely on this instrument when a single self-powered top is needed to cover a room without a subwoofer. The 60° wedge angle and onboard Stage EQ preset make it a strong choice for high-output stage monitor use as well. Touring engineers benefit from the fanless cooling, robust polypropylene cabinet, and multiple rigging points for flown or wall-mounted installs. For full-range club or outdoor coverage, pair it with an RCF sub.
RCF — Italian Pro Audio Since 1949
RCF has been designing and manufacturing professional transducers and loudspeakers in Italy for more than seven decades. The ART 9 Series is the brand's most versatile and powerful portable line to date, building on the original ART series from 1994. Every ART 9 driver is engineered, tested with a 200-hour continuous signal stress protocol, and assembled in RCF's Italian facility — a level of vertical integration few competitors match.
