The SH-2n Jazz model humbucker also uses an alnico 5 bar magnet and a special coil wind for an articulate, glass treble response that balances very well with its full, but tight low end, and the scooped midrange gives it a smooth tonal character. This model was originally designed as the matching neck pickup for the JB model bridge pickup but is also suitable for almost any moderate to high-output bridge humbucker.
