Vandoren Profile 88 B40

B40 mouthpiece for Bb clarinet that was designed by Robert Van Doren and provides time proven standard for musicians worldwide. It provides the same medium long facing as B45 but has a wider tip rail which produces a compact and centred sound. With its Profile 88 beak and tip opening of 119.5 (1/100mm), it provides an impeccable intonation, crisp and accurate articulation, and unrivalled response. This mouthpiece works best with Vandoren #2 to #3.5 reeds.
