The G5191BK Tim Armstrong "Signature" Electromatic Hollow Body is a hollow-body electric guitar from the legendary Gretsch company from the Electromatic Collection series. If you are looking for an original sound with a beautifully dirty retro flavor and a stylish, unobtrusive exterior that you will never be able to take your eyes off, you have found your ideal instrument. This signature Tim Armstrong model with a Nashville body type is made of laminated maple. Thanks to it, the instrument has its typical, dense and beautifully colored tone. This is also helped by two large, characteristic F cutouts on the top plate and a maple neck fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets. The scale length is 24.33" (618 mm) and the base fret width is 1.6875" (42.8 mm). The phenomenal flavor of the sound is completed by two great Black Top Filter'Tron pickups at the bridge and neck with a leveling stroke. These give the model its unique sound and identity. The shiny, gold-plated hardware includes a Rosewood-Based Adjusto-Matic bridge and Grover Sta-Tite Die-Cas tuning machines. The controls consist of a 3-way switch, a Master Volume control and two Volume controls, respectively two Master controls for each pickup separately. The instrument's finish is Black.
