Harry Bauer Rodrigues, born in 1989 and known as Baauer, is an American record producer and DJ recognized worldwide for his hit track Harlem Shake. Beginning his music production journey as a teenager, he first gained attention releasing music as Captain Harry and later became a leading figure in the electronic trap scene alongside acts like TNGHT and RL Grime. Baauer has produced for artists such as Just Blaze, Pusha T, Tom Morello, and G-Dragon, and created official remixes for major names including Missy Elliott and Gorillaz. His music has featured in films like The Hunger Games: Mockingjay and Logan. Baauer’s debut album Aa arrived in 2016, followed by Planet's Mad in 2020, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance or Electronic Album.
