The Guitalele is a "6 string ukulele" from Peavey tuned just like a 6 string guitar. This helps guitar players because you don't have to learn ukulel tunings. All your chord shapes, scales, songs etc. can be played just the same as on a guitar only you're playing a ukulele and getting that uke sound rather than guitar. It's a quality ukulele at a fantasic price and along with Peavey's known quality throughout, you get a mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard and bridge typical on quality instruments. The body is made of Sapele which gives it a nice warm tone. The Guitalele uses typical guitar intervals but is tuned up to Uke tuning so your first and sixth strings are tuned up to an A rather than E.
