Since imitation leaves are thicker and heavier than genuine gold leaf, this size provides enhanced adhesive strength and excellent bonding power on a wide range of surfaces, such as wood, plaster, MDF, and metals. It creates a strong, even coating without surface imperfections. Approximately 15 to 30 minutes after applying a thin layer, the milky emulsion transforms into a clear, tacky film ready for leaf application.
