The X-4 features two EMG open coil pickups and the coil-tap function for flexibility and versatility in an affordable package. The push-pull tone knob potentiometer allows for the humbucker's dual coils to be split into single-coil, providing a brighter and glassier sound ideal for genres such such as pop, funk and certain styles of jazz. A 2-point pivot tremolo with a vintage-style look and excellent tuning stability, it also provides modern up-down functionality and solid transfer of string vibration to the body. Designed for maximum speed, the U-shape profile is ideal for high-energy technical genres requiring fast alternate picking and blazing legato and tapping techniques. 2.9mm jumbo frets allow the fingers to fly up and down the fretboard with ease and authority.
