Compact USB audio interface that can be used for direct from USB hard drive playback, working as a 16-track 24-bit/44.1-48 kHz audio player with standard MIDI File playback capabilities, and dedicated Footswitch Start and Stop functions. It is an ideal tool for live performances that spares users the hassles of using a laptop and computer audio interface in a live environment. It is perfect for backing tracks, virtual sound checks, triggering synthesizers or samplers, driving light shows and controlling devices. When used in connection with a Windows PC, Mac or iPad, it also serves as an 18-output/2-input USB audio interface, providing 16 unbalanced analogue 1/4" tip-sleeve outputs and USB port. With a large number of outputs, the individual tracks of a multi-track DAW session can easily be connected to the individual inputs of an analogue studio mixer. Interface comes with the uTool software that allows for creation and editing of setting and playlist files offline. Device is class-compliant, Mac OS-X (with CoreAudio plug-and-play drivers) and Windows PC compatible (with WDM and ASIO drivers).
