One press steps the signal up or down by seven half steps or a full octave, so key changes happen in the time it takes to stomp a switch. 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion at 44.1 kHz keeps tracking solid under clean and high-gain conditions.

What sets the Whammy DT apart from other pitch shifters

Unlike a standard Whammy, this version adds a separate Drop Tune selector knob and a momentary footswitch for hammer-on and pull-off shifts the moment it is held. The dry signal can be blended back in on the octave-up setting to emulate a 12-string guitar without doubling instruments. A road-ready metal chassis and 5-pin DIN MIDI input complete the package.
