Circle Drone of Doom
Experience the power of six raw analog oscillators that can be multiplied, warped, and shaped with just a turn of a knob or a push of a button. This instrument transcends the ordinary synth, offering unparalleled versatility for creating pads, leads, poly synths, and punchy bass lines. Perfect for crafting dark, gritty, and industrial sounds, it excels in dystopian world-building, crunchy game soundtracks, or enhancing modern metal guitar lines.
About the Library
Our passion for analog drone synthesizers drives us to capture their immense, uncompromising sound in the virtual realm. The Circle Drone of Doom originated from a collaboration with YouTuber Look Mum No Computer, aiming to retain the raw essence of analog hardware while introducing innovative features to enhance workflow. The result is a synth-like experience with straightforward controls that inspire creativity and exploration.
Dive into a world of sound with every knob and setting, where even the most chaotic tones can be musically rewarding.
Straightforward Controls, Massive Sound
Begin your sonic journey with six oscillators that deliver the warm, rich tones characteristic of a 100% analog signal path. Each oscillator is independently tunable, allowing for precise leads and basses or expansive, mega-detuned sounds.
Utilize the multiply knob to expand your sound up to 48 voices on a single note, with customizable spread and detune options. A character-rich multimode filter adds depth, easily manipulated with a single knob turn. Enhance your sound further with three types of circuit-modeled distortion and saturation—dark, medium, and warm—ranging from subtle warmth to complete sonic obliteration.
We intentionally designed a user-friendly interface, focusing on impactful controls rather than overwhelming you with unnecessary knobs and sliders.
A Multitool of Musical Inspiration
The Circle Drone of Doom is not just a one-dimensional instrument; it morphs and adapts to produce a vast array of sounds while maintaining its unique character. It pairs perfectly with our Bundle of Doom for modern metal compositions, allowing you to double your Shreddage 3 Argent leads and heavy riffs.
For those crafting dystopian soundscapes or scoring epic adventures, you'll discover a treasure trove of cinematic-ready presets, including expansive drones, crunchy analog synths, heavy distortion, and unsettling atmospheres.
