Meinl G36-WX Sonic Energy

Gong from Wu Xing series that has a diameter of 36 inches/910 mm and is made in Germany in the European gong-making tradition. It is tuned with a greater frequency range of A1#-B1/H1 that allows it to produce complex tones and beautiful harmonies. And because it is handcrafted, the gong makers ensure that this gong will clearly speak from a soft whisper to a deep roar. The name Wu Xing comes from an old Chinese phrase that is translated as the five elements of life. It is from these elements that gong is created and used to balance life within the universe.
