Compact internet radio with WiFi and LAN interface from Connect series that is a powerful all-around sound miracle built for modern functionality in an elegant package in form of bass reflex wooden cabinet with front panel in brushed aluminium finish and white veneer. It enables the wireless and wired reception of over 10000 internet radio stations and also allows for use as a network player for streaming music archives. Additional facilities include both a DAB/DAB + radio tuner and an analogue FM receiver. The radio features an RDS function, which supplies user with useful program-related content such as artist, title, album, genre or other messages. Via the rear USB port, user can quickly and easily feed music tracks in the MP3 format to the device. An AUX input on the back connects additional external audio devices such as mobile phones, MP3 players or laptops. Professional sound is provided by two laterally-build 6.5cm (2.5") full-range speakers that are supported by an overhead 8cm (3") woofer. The result is a wide and dynamic sound that can be reinforced if necessary with external Hi-Fi or surround sound equipment via the line output. Using various equaliser presets and an individually-adjustable 2-band equaliser, user can repair any quality deficits and strengthen his own sound preferences. Thanks to the easy-to-read 6.5cm (2.5") TFT display with dimmable backlight, user can always keep the time, artist and radio station in sight. Another special feature is the extensive alarm function with programmable intervals. A sleep timer and snooze round out the waking functions.
