Designed by BOSS engineers in Japan, Standard mode delivers classic smoky Blues Driver grit, while Custom mode reshapes the signal for thicker low-end and longer sustain. Both voices respond dynamically to picking attack and guitar volume.
Two Distinct Voices from a Single Stompbox
The mini toggle flips between Standard and Custom voicings without touching the knob settings. The revised all-analog discrete amplifier circuit uses carefully selected components to lower the noise floor and add clarity compared to the original BD-2. Made in Japan and backed by a BOSS five-year warranty, the Waza Craft approach treats the BD-2W as a complete redesign.
