The Cloud Microphones Cloudlifter CL-2 is a two-channel in-line mic activator built around patented Class-A discrete JFET circuitry. It delivers up to +25 dB of ultra-clean, transparent gain to any passive dynamic, ribbon, or tube microphone using only standard +48 V phantom power, while notably blocking phantom from reaching the mic to keep vintage ribbons safe. The rugged steel housing and dual XLR inputs make it a portable solution for podcasters, broadcasters, voice-over artists, and studio or live engineers who want quieter, more detailed capture from low-output microphones.
