The samples are processed through magnetic tape and outboard effects to create an ethereal, immersive soundscape. This instrument features over 1,400 samples including deep-sampled mallets, plucks, bowed ambiances, tapping, shaking textures, and both natural and heavily processed percussive hits. It also includes tonal and atonal sweeps, deep bass plucks, FX, and hybrid airy and synthesized chromatic sounds.

Curio's beautifully scripted interface provides seven MIDI-controllable effects and processors, a multi-mode filter and envelope, an easy 3-band EQ for quick shaping, tempo-synced delay tap, and spatial and modulation effects to sculpt your sound precisely.
