Paul Simon is an influential American singer-songwriter and guitarist who first rose to fame in the 1960s as half of the legendary duo Simon and Garfunkel, known for timeless folk-rock hits such as The Sound of Silence, Mrs. Robinson, and Bridge over Troubled Water. After their split, Simon embarked on a celebrated solo career, embracing a wide range of musical styles including gospel, reggae, and world music.
