It has incredible harmonic content across all frequency ranges, and an insanely tight bass response. The pickup has a seriously aggressive high gain sound that is lively, yet completely controllable. On clean amp settings, it still knows how to behave and provides those bell-like clean tones. It can be pair with the Seymour Duncan’s Sentient neck pickup for the ultimate progressive metal sound and versatility. Hand built in Santa Barbara, California, the pickup uses a large ceramic bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance. This model features a black metal humbucker cover and a classic passive mount that easily fits in any guitar with traditional routing.
