Soilwork is a melodic death metal band from Helsingborg, Sweden, founded in 1995 by Björn Strid and Peter Wichers. Originally called Inferior Breed, they adopted the name Soilwork in 1996. The band is known for their blend of aggressive riffs and melodic hooks, and has released twelve studio albums.
