Compact 2-in/2-out audio/MIDI interface for Mac, Windows and iOS devices with 2 ultra-HDDA (High Definition Discrete Architecture) microphone preamps that provides clear sound quality and advanced features. It provides two XLR/TRS mic/line inputs with switchable +48 V phantom power to use with condenser microphone, two switchable high-impedance inputs for direct guitar or bass recording, two TRS analog balanced line outputs and standard TRS headphones output jack with separate controls for line and headphones output volumes. USB port is class compliant with 2.0 support for plug-and-play operation on Mac OSX, Windows and iOS devices, while MIDI I/O provides direct connection to synthesizers, drum machines or controllers. Interface also includes lincense cards for two DAW applications to choose from – Cakewalk SONAR X3 LE and Ableton Live Lite 9. Ultra-HDDA preamps deliver the cleanest and quietest operation in their class while delivering up to 57 dB of gain – ideal for any type of microphone (ribbon, condenser, dynamic). They also achieve EIN rating of -125 dBu, meaning their noise level is practically below the range of hearing. Interface also features NE5532 op-amps that are used at the audio input and output stages, +48V phantom power for all inputs, an input muting function that eliminated noise from unused inputs, and a direct monitoring function for zero-latency monitoring. Its angled design provides excellent usability on a desktop. USB cable (used as well for powering) is included. Dimensions: 186 x 65 x 160 mm. Weight: 1.1 kg.

I was having problems with my old audio interface and a noisy power supply in my computer leaking noise over the USB port and then into my studio monitors, that's no longer a problem. While I can still hear some noise in my monitors if I turn their gain up the Tascam is more than capable of driving my monitors at much lower gain. Definitely a good buy, fits in with my Linux based studio just fine.

A huge disappointment. Bought it for my home studio and it's barely usable. Drivers for this interface are a huge mess. (Trying) to use it on Windows 10. It has two combo inputs and the official drivers doesn't seem to work propperly, so I can't differentiate the inputs when recording. When using input 1 or 2 solo, I was barely able to get it work. When using them simultaneously (e.g. recording vocals and the guitar at the same time) PC only picks up signal from the first input, even though the signal LED on the second input on the interface is blinking, meaning the interface picks up the signal, it's just not transferred or readable to the PC. Tried everything - reinstalling all sound drivers, using ASIO4ALL, combined all possible set-up combinations and it's a no go. There are topics on the internet talking about this same problem, it's a Tascam error and they just doesn't seem to care to fix it. I've immediately sent a reclamation e-mail to Muziker, still no reply.

Kvalitní kovové tělo, praktické podstavce, precizní zpracování. Potenciometry, tlačítka, vše má přesný plynulý chod bez vůle, či drhnutí. Zvukově je samozřejmě pro domácí studio spíš nadstandardní, ale tomu pochopitelně odpovídá i cena. Přidávaný software rozhodně potěší, i když vhodné nástroje pro mastering jsem ani v jednom nenašel.
