Behringer Eurolive VQ1800D — 500W Active Subwoofer for PA

The Behringer Eurolive VQ1800D active subwoofer pairs a long-excursion 18" transducer with a 500W Class-D amplifier to anchor any PA rig with controlled low end. Reaching 40 Hz and 124 dB max SPL, this model delivers the foundation mobile DJs, cover bands, and small-to-mid venue installations need, with built-in crossover and protection circuits for worry-free operation.

Built-In Stereo Crossover and Tunable Bass Boost

A built-in stereo crossover with variable high-pass filter (70–150 Hz) hands off cleanly to full-range tops. A tunable bass boost (40–80 Hz), phase switch, and High Cut control handle room-specific tuning, while over-excursion, thermal, and clipping protection circuits guard the driver during long, loud sets.

Driver Power and Low-End Reach

Driving the system is a 500W Class-D amplifier paired with an 18" long-excursion driver that produces tight, extended bass holding character at club levels.

• LF Driver: 18" — long-excursion cone
• Amplifier Power: 500 W Class-D — efficient module that runs cool during long sets without thermal shutdown
• Max SPL: 124 dB — headroom for 100-person rooms
• Frequency Response: 40 Hz and up — reaches deepest kick and sub-bass content in dance and live material

Crossover and System Integration

What makes this sub slot into existing PA rigs without extra outboard gear is the integrated crossover network.

• Stereo Crossover: high-pass filter 70–150 Hz — splits signal cleanly
• Bass Boost: tunable 40–80 Hz — adds targeted low-end weight
• Outputs: 2 hi-pass filtered XLR + 2 full-range XLR — drive multiple tops or chain additional subs
• Phase & High Cut: variable — align sub with mains
