Overall impression

This guitar is like a hybrid - it has a large body like a 335 but the fast neck and flatter radius of a shredder. The colour is fantastic with a nice sparkle in the finish. Weight is surprisingly heavy for a semi-hollow, but it very solid and comfortable to wear. There is some fret sprout on mine and the frets were not finshed properly and need polishing. The skunk stripe needs to be repaired where it has raised up slightly but that may present a challenge for sanding as the neck has a finish and is not bare wood. The pickups have a high output and have good clarity and definition although I would say they lack some low end. They respond to drive well. All the knobs and switches are noiseless and smooth. The guitar arrived undamaged although the outer carton had almost fallen apart in transit. GLS couriers were slow compared with DPD.
